Risks
What can go wrong when you use Kabudex, stated plainly. Read this before you trade, lend or launch.
Smart contracts
Every order calls contracts that Kabudex did not write: Uniswap's routers and pools, LI.FI's contracts and the bridges it uses, Morpho's vaults and markets, Doppler's launch contracts and hook. Any of them can contain a bug or be exploited. Audits reduce that risk; they do not remove it.
The issuer of the stock tokens
- Pause: Robinhood can pause a stock token. While paused, it cannot move, so swaps, baskets and loans that touch it revert.
- Block: the issuer can block an address. A blocked address cannot send or receive that stock.
- Corporate actions: splits and similar events are applied through a display multiplier (
uiMultiplier). A coming change is visible on-chain before it takes effect (newUIMultiplier, effectiveAt). - Eligibility: the issuer decides who may hold or redeem its tokens. Tokenized stocks are not offered to US persons.
Prices and market hours
Pools trade at all hours; the shares behind them do not. Outside US market hours, a token's pool price can drift from the last close and spreads widen. Thin pools move more for the same order. Your slippage setting is the most an order can move against you before it reverts.
Lending and liquidation
A loan against a stock is priced by its market's oracle. If the stock falls far enough, your position can be liquidated at a penalty. A pause by the issuer can stop you from adding collateral. Vault withdrawals depend on how much of the vault is lent out at the moment.
Bridges
A bridge order depends on the bridge that carries it. It can be delayed, refunded, or deliver the bridged token instead of the one you asked for if the destination swap fails. Sending to an address you do not control, or to a contract wallet that does not exist on the destination chain, can lose the funds.
Launched tokens
Anyone can launch a token. Launched tokens are created by their creators, not by Kabudex, carry no promise of any kind, and their price can go to zero. A token's name or image is not a statement by the company it may refer to.
The interface
Kabudex shows data from public sources that can be late or wrong, and it can be unavailable. It cannot reverse, cancel or refund a transaction once your wallet has signed it. Nothing on this site is investment, legal or tax advice. You are responsible for checking that you may use these products where you live.
If something looks different from what this page describes, stop and check the contract address in your wallet against Contracts before signing.
