Quickstart
From an empty wallet to your first stock token in five steps. Allow about ten minutes the first time, most of it waiting for a bridge.
Before you start
You need a browser wallet that supports custom networks, such as Rabby or MetaMask, and some ETH or dollars on any chain Kabudex can bridge from: Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum or BNB Chain. If you already hold ETH on Robinhood Chain, skip step 3.
Five steps
- 1Open the app
Go to the app and press Connect wallet. Kabudex lists every wallet installed in your browser by name. Pick one and approve the connection.
- 2Add Robinhood Chain
The first time an order needs it, Kabudex asks your wallet to switch to Robinhood Chain and adds the network if your wallet does not know it yet. Details are on Wallets and networks.
- 3Bring funds in
On Bridge, choose the chain and token you hold, and receive ETH or USDG on Robinhood Chain. Keep a little ETH there: every transaction on the chain pays gas in ETH.
- 4Swap for a stock
On Swap, pay with USDG or ETH and pick a stock. Review the quote: the amount you receive, the least you accept, the route and every fee. Approve the token once if asked, then sign.
- 5Check your portfolio
Portfolio shows every stock token, vault share and launched token your address holds, priced from the pools.
Your second order
Approvals are remembered by the token, so later orders usually need a single signature. To buy several stocks at once, open Baskets: one transaction buys every leg. To put dollars to work while you wait, open Earn.
If a transaction fails, only gas is spent. The app explains the reason in one sentence: a price that moved past your limit, a token paused by its issuer, or a balance too small for the order plus gas.
