Introduction
Kabudex is a marketplace for the stock tokens Robinhood issues on its own chain. It finds the route for an order, builds the transaction in your browser and hands it to your wallet. It never holds your funds.
What Kabudex does
Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663, gas paid in ETH) carries tokenized versions of listed shares and funds: Nvidia, Apple, Tesla, the S&P 500 fund SPY and many more. Kabudex lists 95 of them. Each one trades in one or several pools, against dollars (USDG), against ETH, sometimes against each other. Kabudex reads all of those pools and turns a plain intention, such as buy 200 dollars of Nvidia, into the transaction that fills it best.
- Swap a stock token against USDG or ETH, through every pool and aggregator that can fill the order. See Swap.
- Bridge in from Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum or BNB Chain and arrive as dollars or as a stock. See Bridge.
- Buy a basket: several stocks at stated weights, in one transaction. See Baskets.
- Earn on idle USDG in a lending vault, or lend to markets backed by stocks. See Earn and Lend.
- Launch a token paired with ETH, USDG or a stock, and choose where its fees go. See Launchpad.
What Kabudex does not do
Kabudex is an interface. It does not issue stock tokens, it does not run a pool, a vault or a bridge, and it has no contract of its own between your wallet and the venues it routes to. An order is a call to a contract that was already on the chain: Uniswap's Universal Router, LI.FI's contracts, a Morpho vault or market, or Doppler's launch contracts. The full list is on Contracts.
Because nothing passes through an account of ours, there is nothing for Kabudex to freeze, lend out or lose. The flip side is that Kabudex cannot reverse a transaction either. Once your wallet signs and the chain includes it, it is final.
Who issues the stock tokens
Every stock token listed here is issued by Robinhood and shares one implementation behind the beacon 0xe10b6f6B275de231345c20D14Ab812db62151b00. Kabudex checks each listed token against that beacon before showing it. The issuer keeps controls that matter to holders: it can pause a token, block an account and apply corporate actions such as splits through a display multiplier. Risks explains what each of those means for an order.
The name
Kabu (株) is Japanese for a share of stock, so Kabudex reads as the stock exchange, in the decentralised sense. The mark is a kabudex, the helmet that gave its name to Kabuto-chō, the district of Tokyo where the stock exchange stands.
Two colours
Across the site and the app, white is what you sign and gold is what Kabudex chooses for you: the pool, the path, the minimum. When a figure is measured on the chain, it is set in monospace. When a source does not answer, the figure says so instead of guessing.
Tokenized stocks are not offered to US persons, and each issuer sets its own eligibility rules. Check that you may hold them where you live before you trade.
